In retaliation for the UAE’s active role in the Saudi alliance in the long war imposed on Yemen, Yemeni forces attacked several strategic installations in Abu Dhabi.

A bomb blast near the Libyan capital, Sanaa, has killed at least 12 people and injured 11 others, Yemen’s Al-Masira television channel reported.

Al-Masira television reporter Sana reported that five more residential buildings were damaged in the Saudi attack and that efforts were being made to find people trapped under the rubble. A Saudi plane has also bombed a park in the capital, Sanaa, on September 11.

Al-Masira television reported that Saudi Arabia had carried out more than 50 raids in various parts of Yemen’s central Marib province in the past 24 hours. The province has carried out 31 airstrikes in al-Wadi, Jubah and Harib areas. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has carried out eight airstrikes in the law area of Shabwa province. In addition, seven airstrikes were carried out in the Saoma area of Baidar province.

Yemen’s northern province of Jawf and southwestern Taiz province have been hit by two airstrikes. Saudi Arabia has also carried out airstrikes in al-Jarrahi in the port city of Hudaydah and in the Hazara area of the northern province of Hajjah.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia, along with several of its Arab allies, has been conducting military operations against poverty-stricken Yemen. The UAE has always played a role in this campaign. The Yemeni military had warned the United Arab Emirates before yesterday’s attack.
