Enrique announced a 24-man squad for their next two World Cup qualifiers on Friday. This is the first time since last March that he has called up a Real player.

Right-back Carvajal was sidelined most of last season due to a series of injuries; You can play only 15 matches in all competitions.

Enrique has announced squads for three different competitions in the last eight months; But he never took any player from the most successful team in Europe. It started with the European Championships in June-July where his team played in the semi-finals.

At the time, however, most of the club’s Spanish players were injured or out of rhythm.

Enrique’s disciples have lost points against these two teams. After a 1-1 draw at home against Greece, Spain lost 2-1 to Sweden in the fourth round.
