Mohammad Amir announced his retirement from international cricket due to a dispute with the board. However, as a result of major changes in Pakistan cricket, he hinted at a return to international cricket. The PCB put his name on the list of central contracts of domestic cricket.
However, pacer Aamir has withdrawn from the deal. Instead, he called for a junior cricketer to sign a contract. All-rounder Imad Wasim also turned down the offer like Aamir.
Aamir hinted at a return to international cricket after the resignations of Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis. That is why the PCB kept Aamir in the central contract of domestic cricket for the upcoming season. Aamir was placed in the ‘A’ category in the list of 191 names.
Pakistani media Dawn reported that Aamir did not know that his name was on the list. Rejecting the PCB’s offer, Amir said, “I didn’t know my name was on the list. I will request the PCB to put a junior cricketer in my place on contract. So that he can benefit and help his family. ‘
“I’m not moving away from cricket again because I’m moving away from this place,” said the 29-year-old pacer. I will not play international cricket now. ‘
